In Glitching Glory
An attempt to combine a multidisciplinary method of creating a collage of image and sound. This channel shows our approach and process of old technology lost in time with a more contemporary play in the field of Art, such as spoken words, sounds loops, and everyday rituals. Our aim is to experiment with sounds, image, taste, sensation, and the relationship of how we connect and project our thoughts into am Art pice.
This video was taken place in the venue, Vera, in Groningen city. The video is a live take there is not editing done except for the sound. The original sound was lost during the prosses of the performance so a replacement of sound is added based on a program that registers color and contrast. In the performance, the attempt is to connect to a live audience with music and cooking. The documentation has been captured with 80s canon cameras and mixed live on stage this gives the possibility of the creation of new work.
Trying out different ways of disturbing sound and image. In this case, we are trying a new feature on the loop station that can make a color of our selection work like a green screen in which we are trying to project sound waves on the selected part. This is a live take attempt, no editing has been done.
